Abriansyah Liberto

Abriansyah Liberto is an Indonesian photographer and photojournalist from Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia. His works focus on social and environmental issues. Liberto has received multiple awards for his work including the Indonesian National Press Award Adinegoro (2015) and Photo of the Year Anugerah at the Anugerah Pewarta Foto Indonesia (2015). In 2016, he made a collaborative book with several photographers about environmental damage due to forest and peatland fires in Indonesia, published by Tribun. His projects Mencegah Bara (2015) and Membangun Indonesia (2019) have been part of several exhibitions. In 2020, he received a photojournalist grant from the Pannafoto Institute – Workshop in learning visual storytelling.

Irene Barlian

Irene Barlian is an independent documentary photographer based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Her practice focuses on social, environmental, cultural, and women’s stories. The most significant element of her professional ventures is devoted to personal, long-term projects. Barlian is a National Geographic Explorer and a member of Women Photograph, a photography collective centering on women and non-binary visual journalists. Her work has been published by The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, The Sunday Times, One World, Vice, Reuters, and more.

In 2022, Barlian was granted the Objectifs Documentary Award. The same year she was also shortlisted for the Leica Oskar Barnack Award and Marilyn Stafford FotoReportage Award. Barlian participated in multiple exhibitions in venues worldwide, such as the Objectifs Center in Singapore, the Ernst Leitz Museum in Wetzlar Germany, the Jakarta International Photo Festival, and the Bucharest Photo Festival.

Riska Munawarah

Riska Munawarah is a documentary photographer based in Indonesia. Riska uses photography to tell a story and its social context, as well as to challenge the status quo by capturing daily moments in her surroundings. She has worked as a photojournalist at a local news agency and her interest in people and their relationships manifested in wider themes including social changes, human rights, feminism, and environmental issues. Riska’s work was selected as runner-up for Best Work of the 2019 Permata PhotoJournalist Grant. Her photos have been published at Insumatra Photo Festival (2018), Solo Photo Festival (2020), and Jakarta International Photo Festival (2022), among others.

Agoes Rudianto

Agoes Rudianto is independent photojournalist based in Jakarta, Indonesia. He hold a Bachelor Degree of Communication in 2011 from Sebelas Maret University. He started his career as photographer in local news paper since 2007 and as photo editor at 2013. In early 2014, he decided to become a freelance. He divide his time between commissioned assignments and self-initiated projects focusing on social, environmental, and human rights issues. Recently, he was awarded the Erasmus Huis Fellowship to learn to make a photostory under the guidance of NOOR Images photographer, Kadir van Lohuizen in Netherlands.
